Batch Edit is created for SharePoint 2010. It will work on both SharePoint Server 2010 and SharePoint Foundation 2010
  • Download Batch Edit from the Download section
  • Open Powershell prompt on SharePoint Server 2010 as Administrator
  • Add-SPSolution c:\temp\SP2010.BatchEdit.wsp
  • Open SharePoint Central Administration > Solution Management
  • Deploy to all Web Applications

@danieleg, did you figure out how to activate it? If so it would help if you posted how you activated it. I can't find it anywhere in SP Central Admin or in Site Settings of any sites in my SharePoint.

Hi, I downloaded the BatchEdit.wsp and added it successfully. When I want to deploy it I can only do so Globally. When I go to the top level Site settings and go to the manage Features I cannot see the BatchEdit feature to activate. I also cannot see the batchEdit in the C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\14\TEMPLATE\FEATURES folder. What am I doing wrong here? Thanks for any replies in advance, kr Mick

You forgot to say that we must activate the Site Collection Feature "SP2010.BatchEdit"
